BC Distilled is back.
After three years of cancelled and modified events, BC Distilled, the massive artisanal spirits festival, is returning to Vancouver.
Forty distilleries and hundreds of locally produced spirits, several of which are new additions to the festival, will take over two rooms at the Croatian Cultural Centre on Commercial Drive this May.
“We’re so happy to have BC Distilled back to its pre-pandemic format, and to show off the expertise and character of this province’s distillery sector,” says founder and organizer Alex Hamer in a press release. “One upside of the slow return is that over a quarter of these spirits will be new to the show. For spirit lovers, this is going to be a great year to revisit the best of this industry and to find new favourites.”
The event is also a fundraiser with partial proceeds being donated to the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS), plus a silent auction and 50/50 draw in support of the organization which will be in attendance. Guests at the festival will also have the opportunity to interact with PADS dogs and puppies.
