The 12th edition of B.C.’s only magazine dedicated to cocktail and spirits culture returns with everything you need to quench your thirst this summer.

Here at The Alchemist, we’ve been getting ready for the hot weather with cool drinks and sizzling reads. Mostly, we’ve been experimenting with G&Ts. In Home Bar, we show you how to DIY a bespoke gin, including a zero-proof variation. Our tasting panel samples a dozen international gins, and we look into the unique conditions that have led to BC’s artisanal ones. But that’s not all. In this issue, we also check out Vancouver’s theme bars, celebrate the 50th birthday of the Caesar, roll out the barrel and take flight with the Green Fairy. And, in Hey Bartender, we get some spirited insight into wedding season. Plus we have a complete guide to BC’s distilleries, the latest spirited news and plenty of recipes. Now that’s refreshing, isn’t it?

Pick up a free copy before they’re gone! Find The Alchemist in select distilleries, cocktail bars and independent liquor stores across B.C. Or make sure you never miss an issue, and subscribe right here.
